Hotel St-Thomas

We recently stayed here as part of a suprise birthday trip. We were so so happy with the hospitality and level of care from the staff here! The room was absolutely beautiful and we were greeted with a cute little birthday box of gifts! The breakfast was always well prepared and tasty. We also visited the spa (a short walk down the road) which was absolutely beautiful. The staff here really do seem to care and were always so sweet and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay!

My wife and I stayed for three nights while attending the CineMania film festival. This hotel has a great location and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was in great shape and the bed was comfortable. The cafe latte option at breakfast was a real treat. We felt completely at ease while staying at Hotel St. Thomas and hope to return on our next visit to Montreal.

Very nice boutique hotel. Staff was nice. I wouldn’t get the parking as it’s outside and takes very long for them to bring the car around. The bar closes very early (10 I think) and the breakfast was good. Rooms were clean nice and the end was very comfortable.

I had a nice one night stay before starting my exchange semester in Montréal. In the evening a radiator from the neighbour got really noisy and made my walls vibrating. The Hotel Staff immediately reacted and brought me to a new room. The Skyline view Suite was very nice and felt luxurious, but even my more “standard” room earlier was nice and spacious. I slept very well and enjoyed a nice breakfast in the morning. The Gym just a view blocks torwards the pleatau is highly recommend.

So glad we found this hotel on Expedia! The property was very clean, rooms spacious and service was top-notch! Within not even two minutes of us arriving, the gentleman at the front door came outside ( minus -25 degree weather!) To help us with our bags. Check in was quick and smooth, and the valet parking option was great, especially considering the weather. There was a mix up with our room, and immediately we were apologized to and were treated to a complimentary drink for the trouble. Breakfast was very fresh, with such great service again. Cappuccino was fantastic We will definitely look to book again, next time we are in town. Only disappointing thing was that we were under the impression the property had a hot tub and gym on-site. Unfortunately it is a separate property all together(5-10 minute walk)

Don’t listen to the negative reviews of this hotel. It’s absolute perfect for a smaller hotel. Very quiet, lux vibe and amazing breakfast. The staff were the best part. Great at socializing and recommending good spots to eat. Approx 35 min to Bell Center and minutes from St Catherine’s. Will definitely return for a staff. The owner of the Hotel needs to give his staff a pat on the back. They are amazing

We had an amazing time at Hotel St-Thomas! Love the boutique hotel feel. All the staff were so sweet and helpful throughout our entire stay! Our room was beautiful and very clean - we even had a view of the city from our balcony. Breakfast was great, and to end your night I definitely recommend sitting at the hotel bar - Xavier and the other young gentleman were so welcoming! Would definitely come back + recommend to others. Merci beaucoup :)

A Mixed Stay in Downtown Montréal My wife and I spent one night at this hotel during a short visit to Montréal. While the location was excellent—right in the heart of downtown and close to everything—we found the overall experience underwhelming given the price. The room was clean and had all the essentials: fresh linens, a tidy bathroom, and a comfortable bed. However, the value for money felt off. Everything seemed overpriced for what was offered. Breakfast was a buffet with a decent variety, but nothing stood out. It was clean and organized, but the food was average at best. The potatoes, for example, were soft and clearly not fresh. Still, it was passable. Service was polite but not particularly helpful. Staff were courteous, but when we returned late at night and found our room freezing—locked at 19°C—we couldn’t get assistance. There was no one at the front desk, and the person we did find wasn’t able to help. We spent the night cold and uncomfortable, which really affected our impression. In short: clean, well-located, but overpriced and lacking in warmth—both literally and figuratively. Acceptable for a quick stay, but we wouldn’t rush back...
